Here is what we have done:

-On November 1, 2017- HVSW began the night trying to escape The Mystery Room in West Nyack. We work together to solve a variety of puzzles and one group was successful to escape one of the room. A great amount of team work ad efforts were set forth among the HVSW FACS educators. We were also so lucky to receive a brief and informative presentation on how puzzles and games are created there. After an excited presentation we then moved to the Yard House Restaurant in West Nyack. Which presented an amazing presentation of their restaurant, food presentation and menu selection. We all highly recommend it as an exciting professional development experience.

-On December 21, 2017- Regional Holiday Celebration!! Which we enjoyed great food, the workshop focus on techniques for incorporating and embracing different cultures in your classroom. ELL strategies were discussed as well. We even shared lesson plans and ideas on how we accomplish the strategies in our classroom.
