FCCLA Leadership Contribution: Donna Donaldson Memorial

NYSAFCSE is a sponsoring organization for the NYS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Consider donating in memory of Donna Donaldson, who was an outstanding leader and member of NYSAFCSE and dedicated to youth leadership through FCCLA. This is another vehicle we have for promoting family and consumer science education. Your contribution will be forwarded to the State FCCLA organization to help defray leadership and training costs.

Memorial Scholarship Contribution

In memory of Ruth Ritter, who was a Charter Member of NYSHETA and the first elected president of this organization. She was chairperson of the Home Economics Department for the Penfield Central School District and even after her retirement, maintained active interest in NYSHETA. The first Ruth Ritter Memorial Scholarship was awarded in 1984 at the State Convention.

In memory of Ruth Ann Schultz, who was an outstanding leader and member of this organization and many other professional organizations. Her many achievements demonstrated her involvement at the local, state and national levels. Ruth Anne’s character and commitment to promoting family and consumer science and her involvement in Career and Technical Education were recognized by colleagues and professionals in related fields.

These scholarships are given to a NYSAFCSE student member who is a junior or senior in college majoring in Family and Consumer Science Education and is sponsored by a NYSAFCSE member.
